reflection of this year

So i was reading JessBi's blog and I though I should write a reflection for 2010 as well.

I will make a list of the things that I think have changed this year

1. Grew taller
2. Self studied maths
3. Started playing bball (and will probably stop in 2011 to do tennis D:)
4. Gotten closer to friends 
5. Tried to be happier, more optimistic and more lively.
6. Got healthier (Y)
7. Liked K-Pop :D

Ok, so now i'm going to reflect on my changes and experiences in this year.

• Grew taller-  Well  this one's pretty normal. Like, I'll be pretty abnormal and sad if I didn't grow. But only growing 1cm (maybe even less?) is pretty sad. What happened to all the milk and yoghurt i've had huh? where did they all go to D:
• Self Studied maths- Yeah so when I realised that I've been getting some shitty marks for all 3 terms, I decided that I really should start paying attention and study hard for yearlies. And then I made a goal to go through the list of topics we're going to be tested on. And so, I had to stay up to 1 to finish it. But yeah. In the end, I was pretty satisfied my my score. Just hopefully I'll get into the good maths class next year. :)
• Started playing bball- There's another grow-tall sport which didn't really help much :( But still it had been so much fun. I've still learnt some skills and techniques *shifty look* And had a great bonding time with jess and mish (Y). But sadly, I might be giving bball up next year. But tennis is just as awesome right? :D
• Gotten closer to friends- I think I've done that pretty well. Last year, I really felt as if I didn't belong in this group and it was as if no one liked me or noticed me and there was someone who probably really disliked me. But this year, our friendship really strengthened and we became a lot closer. I have also gotten closer to some other people including ones that I've never been in a class with. Sometimes, at night, I get really sentimental and think: I am so lucky to be where I am right now. A year ago, I wasnt even anywhere close. I am so glad for the friends I have right now and I should really treasure them because I know how it feels to be without them and all alone. So yes, thank you to everyone that has been supportive of me. I really love you all :)
• Tried to be happier, more optimistic and more lively- I have realised that if I'm not happy, then the people around me won't really be happy as well. So I decided that if I start being more lively and optimistic, then the people around me will feel the same way as well and everyone will be happier and we can all be one big happy family *group hug* So did anyone feel the difference from last year? Actually I'm not really sure if I did, but overall, I felt a lot happier than last year.
• Got healthier- Yes, this is one that I'm really glad I achieved. Last year, I had the same goal, but I guess my definition of the term wasn't exactly the same as this year. So this year, I thought I should get it right and really work my way towards healthy, happy life.
• Liked K-Pop- Ooh this is one that is exciting. Ditched J-Pop and went to K-Pop and Key :D. Well I guess this happens all the time. Like 2007 was my english songs year, 2008 was my C-Pop year, 2009 was my J-Pop year and 2010 was like C-Pop/ K-Pop year. But still it has been a really exciting time for me, and maybe, this K-Pop fanatic sort of helped me get closer to some people. :) And I swear I became more Asian this year (Y)

2010 have been a really busy year for me. It was so filled up with activities and projects and friends. I guess this year had been a turn around year for me? I have now become more stronger and mature and more experienced. I'm really glad this year happened and I will treasure all the memories and experiences I've had, whether they be good or bad.

Haha. so serious man. Aishhh first reflection in ages. The last time was in year 2 when my primary teacher made us all write one. All I wrote was

I learnt a lot this year and I made a lot of friends this year. I love my friends. I am sure they will be my best friends forever. This year was very fun and I really really like this year. I hope next year will be just as fun.

and even though everyone said they wanted the gingerbread house the night before

I ENDED UP BEING THE ONLY ONE EATING IT DD:

then I learnt parts of lucifer off Jess on the car trip back

which I decided to go to Lily's house instead of mine

cause i was so scared of being alone

now I'm still stuck at her house lol

without showering :O

i am a dirty, unclean girl

SLEEPOVER :D

I haven't been to a sleepover for so long

the last time I slept at someone else's house was

when I went to Singapore last year and had to stay at my friend's house

but i'm pretty sure that doesn't count as a sleepover right?

and the last-last time I went to a sleepover was when i was 9?

and we had to go to bed at 10p.m

right after watching a disney channel movie o.o

Woah man, look at the wind

The wind is so big today. and so loud cause I live on the 11th floor

omg. blew my door shut this morning

and I thought it was some pedo/burglar coming in to rape me or rape my little piggy bank lol

yeah that's why i woke up so early.

I WOKE UP AT 8:20!!!

damn it. and i went to bed yesterday night(or this morning haha) at 12:30, which means i slept less than eight hours DD:

aishhhhh. so i was re-checking my goals to see if I'd completed, or even gone near completing any of them

and i realised the closest was learn replay on piano. I haven't even started on replay the dance!!!

oh well, maybe next time you guys start dancing, I'll discreetly look away and then volunteer to play the piano for you guys lol.

and yesterday, I was stalking Beast right, because I really like their voices and stuff

so i went to their albums and I opened a picture of their cover for Beast is the B2st mini album

and looked at everyone, and thought

oh.my.god I'm going to Dr Du next year for coaching

and when i registered, they gave me a contract thingy for me to sign and agree to

and when i read it

it was like:

hand-in homework on time

no exaggerating hairstyles

no inappropriate clothing (platform heels, thongs, midriffs etc.)

remain quiet within the coaching center

no listening to music, no playing with phone during lectures (they used the word lecture and now it sounds so scary and professional.)

and then for HSC people, you must reveal your HSC score to Dr Du and if you get 90+, you must allow DR Du to post to the public.

i was like: oooooohhmygodddd

 this is so strict, so much stricter than STC lol

but putting aside this fact,

ESPECIALLY JESSBI!! SO YOU CAN KEEP ME COMPANY

BECAUSE THE ONLY OTHER TWO PEOPLE I KNOW IN MY CLASS NOW IS XIAOZHEN AND LILY,

yeah and I went to Woodville park's carols by candlelight

and it was really boring, so much more boring than the past few years

like seriously, last year or the year before

i could find so many people i know when i went

this time there was basically no-one

until I found mish and annie and sarah and the others.

oh i guess that's basically all.

oh OH OH!!

AND AND 

\when i went to take the entrance exam for DR DU,

they gave us the wrong paper first time

the first time, they gave us the yr 9 to yr 10 paper

and it was so friggin hard

there was all these questions to do with sine and cosine and numbers to the power of a fraction, and finding out the degree of an angle when they only gave you the side lengths

when i did it, i was like whatthecrap??

and i ended up getting only 29% 

LOL

Shining Inheritance

After I finished gumiho, I was itching for a new drama

and mish told me to watch shining inheritance

**omgsh someone just sang this super long note in hot times :O

okok so i was watching shining inheritance, and it was a really good drama

it's like a korean version and a crapper version of cinderella.

but it has the daewoong guy from gumiho and he looks soooooo cool in there.

it's like: woah. he's so cool and sauve.

yesterday i had a scary dream.

ok it was like: me dora and agnes were sitting in a plane

and then the plane was crashing, like it was falling off a cliff and everyone was screaming

and the plane driver was trying to pull on the brakes for it to stop

and then it stopped halfway and everyone was like phew

but somehow, i knew that it wasn't over

like, i've had this dream before

and in my dream, i knew i had a dream like this before

**it sounds weird but it makes sense!

so when everyone was all relieved, i told dora and agnes that it wasn't over yet

and right after i said it, the plane jerked again and moved down the cliff a bit more, then it stopped

then everyone got out. and we were in this crevice in the mountains. 

omgsh it was so freaky

and after that i had a dream about basketball and floods

and then this sad part

where i was looking at my parents walking together under an umbrella

and it was sunrise or something

and even though they didnt look old in my dream

i somehow knew that they old

and then i felt this sudden rush of emotion and then i suddenly thought: i love you mum and dad. in my dream

 

it looked like this except my dad was on the right and I was looking at them from a dark, underground place, probably a garage. omgsh it was so sad and emotional

Last day of school. now suck it up losers

the school year is officially over :DD

now I can do whatever I want, sleep in, go shopping, omgsh watch dramas read fanfics, WRITE FANFICS :D

omg. it is amazing

if you don't know, red lantern is this restaurant owned by this viet chef called luke nyugen(is that how you spell it?)

so i went up and look

the window was so clean, i had this feeling i could go closer and closer and closer

then we went to this BIIIIIIG shop that sells jewelleries

seriously, i was so surprised when my named got called out coz i stay pretty much unnoticed in all my classes

then i found out it was Ms Profilio

we were playing with this new coach

and he was so cool and funny

there was this time where i stood near the semicircle

then I GOT IT IN!!!!

i was like

i kept on having to get the ball thrown between me and this girl

cause we were always fighting for it (not literally, but like you know, two people holding on)

and at the end i felt so cool, i dribbled then i did a spin and chucked it to mish, and mish got it in.

we won :D

jess is so good at passing

im just in the middle doing random stuff.

but in the end, we won even though our team only had four people and the other team had five, including the coach.

at the end, after it ended when we sat down, i felt this rush of hotness to my face

yesterday

i had such a cool dream

I think I was looking at polly's camera

and there were videos of a shinee lucifer concert

well they all had their lucifer hair so yeah

Key was wearing a blue denim jacket

and Taemin was wearing like leather vest with a black shirt underneath

and then half way through the song

he ripped half the shirt off

and his tummy was so smooth and flat.

no abs..but thats ok ;)

then for some reason I heard that they were rehearsing somewhere in the house im currently in

so i went upstairs and tried to find them

and I was opening doors and they werent there,

and then there was this white door, and i opened, and there was another door behind it

at that time, the mum of the house came and said:

ill advise you not to open that door, i smells horrible in there

and i thought it was her daughter smoking, so i didnt open the door

then i went to another room and opened the door, but I saw little kids on the floor

and I was like okkkkkk......

then I saw a huge wardrobe, and i went in

i thought there was some secret doorway behind, so i was trying to push the wall or smth but it didn't work

then i heard the daughter's door opening and i was like:

oh shitt. she must be some kind of scary person. i need to hide

so i stayed in the wardrobe behind all the clothes

then the daughter walked into the room and opened the wardrobe and was looking for clothes

i remember her saying: ahhh this dress, chanel $4000 or smth like that

and I remember myself thinking: holy crap! theyre rich!!

then SHE FOUND ME!!!!

and she dragged me out of her wardrobe and i just stood there cause i was really scared

but she just started taking out a curler and curling her hair

then i was like: oooohh can i borrow, i want to use it too

then she gave it to me but the curler looked like a remote control

and i didnt know how to use it

and she was like: omgsh are you stupid or what?!?!

and i was so sad and i said:

oh umm..i have a straightener at home, but it's one of those old kind

then she suddenly asked me what grade i was in

and i said 8th grade

her: youre so lucky do you know that? im still in 5th grade

her: im supposed to be in seventh grade but my mum makes me go to 5th grade because 5th graders dont leave this house, while 7th graders have to leave this house

Today, basketball got cancelled

Today didn't start off good

Melissa didn't come to school so we couldnt get ANY music done

so me and doz got permission to go to the library to search up photos to go with our music.

And we searched up some war photos, they were so scary and disturbing.

I just got some free time after 2andhalf hours of piano.

1. You are really amazing do you know that. I find it amazing that you can keep up with this. This positive attitude towards everything, saying 'it's fine' when sometimes, it really isnt. Looking at you make me realise that what's on the inside matters a lot more than what people see on the outside. You also let me understand the real meaning of friendship, that it's not just about saying cute things to one another. It's also how you treat them and how much you're willing to do for them.

2. Wow. I find it scary how much I discovered of the hidden you. The one that's hidden from everyone else, from everyone that don't know you enough. But after all this time, I real truth slowly starts to seep out. There's a lot of bad things about you, but as long as you don't show it, you could be fine.

3. I admire you a lot, but I don't think you realise that. I admire the fact that you're able to be yourself even under pressure, that you're able to concentrate and work hard even with distractions.I admire how pure you are and how happy you always are. I really want to get closer to you, but I don't think you think much of me. When you talk to me or smile at me, it doesn't seem like you do it out of friendship. It seems like you do it out of kindness or pitiness. Maybe you should start getting to know me better, or maybe.... I'm just not good enough for you.

4. You seem really interesting and perfect. But your attitude towards me is always hot and cold. Sometimes it seems like you really like me and you treat me so well. But sometimes? It just seems like I don't exist. You're really social and you know so many people compared to me. I know it's hard for you to think of me when you have so much more other people to think about, but I really don't like it when you start being distant all of a sudden.

5. I really admire you as well. Maybe even more than 3. But sometimes there's parts of you that don't really seem that real, like parts of a jigsaw puzzle that don't really fit. I'm not saying that I don't believe what you're telling me. It's just that it seems too perfect, too unreal. I'm sorry if I seem really boring compared to you, or if I don't seem fun enough when you talk to me. It's just that sometimes, I feel intimidated next to you. Maybe just like 3, I'm not good enough for you.

6. Our friendship is very neutral. We're not close at all, but you're so nice you make it seem as if we have always been the best of friends. You always laugh at the 'jokes' that I make, either truthfully or out of kindness, I don't know. But all I know is that, it makes me feel included and it makes me feel like I at least belong somehow. I don't know how you do this, but you're so nice to everyone, it makes me feel ashamed that I don't do enough for my friends compared to you.

7. You're not a bad person but you just don't know how to say the right things, or say it in a right way I guess. You often offend me, or even annoy me at some stages but I know that you're actually a nice person deep inside. You just need to know how to show everyone that person instead of the one that you're currently pretending to be. I haven't been able to get close to you, but if you keep this up, I'm not really sure if I want to.

8. Even though we've never really been close or have a heart-to-heart talk of some sort, I feel as if I already know you and that I'm already really close to you. I guess that's how you make everyone else feel, maybe that's why you're so popular and loved by everyone. I really love your boldness and the way you.....express yourself? It's as if you have no need to be ashamed yourself, which you don't anyways because you're so pretty and at the same time, kind and fun-loving.

9. You're so pretty and just like 8, you're really kind and nice to everyone. I always feel such a sad person standing beside you. You're always so bubbly and happy and energetic.I don't know how you do this. You make everything seem fine as if the world is a happy place. I feel young and carefree next to you, like somehow all my worries are no longer there and all I need to do is laugh and nothing will go wrong.

10. Way back last year, even though I really liked you, I used to think we couldnt at all communicate. Then we started getting a bit closer and I started to know you and like you more. But now there's something really different and I can see a really distinctive change in you. Don't get me wrong, because I still like you. But I can see you starting to make a mistake I've made before. I don't want to see you go down the wrong way because I really want you to be the best (lol i sound like a mum). So I really hope you stop right now, because you're awesome just the way you are.

11. I don't really get you because you always seem so distant. Maybe it's not like that to everyone, maybe it's just to me? Is it because I don't communicate with you enough? Or is it because you find me boring and that there's no point talking to me or being close to me? There was a once-upon-a-time that we were close and we would laugh and hang on to each other while walking. But is that forgotten forever? I hope not, because I can still remember it even though you might not.

12. You are one fo those people that are nice to people you know well and nice to those that you don't. Just like 8 and 9, you're really pretty and popular and everyone just seems to like you naturally. I really admire for for this and the fact that you're able to put your friends before you and do things for them that I might not be able to do so myself.

13. You are one of those people that really brighten up my day. I guess maybe not to the point where I'll smile when I think of you but enough so that I will laugh genuinely when I'm with you. There's those times where you have to fake a laugh just because  you have to, and there's times where that laugh just comes out. I guess the only problem with you is that you don't really consider other people around you. And maybe the reason why you like hanging out with me is because I seem 'new and interesting' to you. I'm have a feeling that if I stay with you more, you'll start treating me like dirt. So maybe, I'll still keep my distance so we'll be able to keep on laughing with each other.

14. I don't have any kind of happy memories with you, but I guess right now, it's fine with me because we laugh and smile and hug each other. Maybe it's the best way? I don't really know. I guess maybe you think I'm just neutral with everyone or maybe you are. I don't really know what to say to excpt random things that I think of. I really want to have a good time with you so that next time we talk, I can go: Remember that time when we.....

15. We have gotten so much closer these years. Two years ago, I could have sworn you thought I was too stupid or too lame to talk to. Maybe your view towards me have changed? I really hope so, because you're such a nice person (im srs. even my mum thinks so.lol :D) I think that my friendship with you is one of the most successful yet, because two years ago, I couldn't say anything to you, but now, I can think up of so many 'Remember when we...'s.
